Version 5.8 just dropped and I’m so excited to announce that e-commerce integration is here!
Mooberry Book Manager can now integrate with WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads to help you sell your books directly from your website. And the best part? This feature is added into Mooberry Book Manager Basic so it’s available to everyone using version 5.8 or higher!
Use a different e-commerce plugin? Let me know and I’ll see about adding an integration for it.
How it Works
If Mooberry Book Manager detects that you have a supported e-commerce plug-in installed on your site, a new set of options will appear on your Mooberry Book Manager Settings -> Retailers page. These options will allow you to choose how the links added to your book page will appear. See the details here.
Additional, settings will be added to the product page in your e-commerce plugin that allow you to connect your product to a book in Mooberry Book Manager. See details for WooCommerce here and Easy Digital Downloads here.
When books are connected to your e-commerce products, Mooberry Book Manager will take care of adding details about your book to your product page. This means you won’t have to enter all the details about your book (like summary, book cover, genre, etc.) twice.
